Services Provided

Producing – $400-600 per song

The first of the three major stages of taking your song from idea to a masterpiece. We can be there as early as the writing stage to help you finalize chords, lyrics, and arrangement (instrument parts) or simply record your fully finished piece. In addition, sessions include creative input, coaching on the best techniques, and constructive and encouraging feedback throughout the process.

Editing – $40 per hour (that you produced/recorded)

A mini step that is often a part of producing and sometimes extends into mixing, editing is the slow, boring, and sometimes less fun part of the music creation process. It finalizes individual tracks and can include interesting special effects like vocal doubling, chipmunk/monster pitch, stutters, sweeps, and reverse reverbs, or it can focus on the more mundane tasks like making sure all of the drums and other instruments are on time and hit the downbeat together, pitch correction, eliminating small pops or clicks, taming wild syllables, and cutting out unnecessary noise during dead spots.

Mixing – $400 per song

The second major stage, mixing takes all of the individual tracks and makes them sound their best as a single unit. We love this stage as a final mix really makes your vision come to life! Plus, we at NCM are huge finishers, so the only stage we might love more is…

Mastering* – $75 single song | EP $65 per song | Album $50 per song

The final stage of creating your song, this is what makes you jump up and down and shout, "Yessss!" when you listen back. It takes your final mix and adds the finishing touches of loudness, clarity, warmth, space, and formatting to give you that top-of-the-line professional sound. That's why we love it so much. Mastering reveals the true payoff to all your hard work. We do EP rates for 3-6 songs and album rates for 7 or more.

Performing – Various rates by need

We have a great database of performers ready to connect with you through their own businesses/studios as well as our own in-house musicians and cover most of the major instruments out there, including many orchestral varieties. If we are also producing your song, basic synth parts may be included in the production at no extra charge.

Songs with more than 60 tracks or 15 instruments/vocalists may incur additional charges. Same goes for any complicated or weird requests.

Mastering is best accomplished by parties uninvolved in the rest of the production process. This may mean you bring a separate project to NCM solely for mastering or that our engineers recommend you take a project we created elsewhere for mastering.
